Prescribed medication to young people increasing.
A recent study from the University of Sydney suggests that prescription of mood and behaviour disorder drugs for young people has increased substantially in recent years.
As youth workers supporting young people, almost all of us would be working with young people with mental health complaints and who are or have been prescribed various medications by GPs and other health professionals.
